About the Inspire Praise Bible
The Inspire Praise Bible is a single-column, 2-inch margin, New Living Translation coloring Bible produced by Tyndale and Christian Art. The pages do seem thicker than the original Inspire Bible and they are also white instead of cream colored. The Inspire Praise Bible includes 500 line art drawings for you to color and 32 colorful vellum pages. There are also three sheets of color your own stickers and tabs placed in the purple pocket that’s located in the back of the Bible.
The Bible weighs under three pounds, has a strap that’s useful for keeping things from falling out, and the purple cover is spectacular. As a girl with previously purple dyed hair, I have an appreciation for the rich color of this Bible.
Inspire Praise Bible Pros
I loved the texture and feel of the cover as well as the beautiful and colorful art along the edge. The foil letters stand out and make the cover look so expensive. The line art is both fun and beautiful. There is art as well as words to color. I believe the manufacturer is correct when they say the pages are a bit thicker too. The Inspire Praise Bible is the first Bible to have the vellum pages included in it. If you want to color on them you can use any marker, but alcohol markers will be a bit challenging. All in all, this Bible is worth it and I highly recommend it.
Inspire Praise Bible Cons
There were two things that caught my eye during the review. The first one was that the dedication page was missing. I believe it’s the second page in the Bible and looks like a tag. I missed it at first during the review. I also had one of my vellum pages wrinkle during the manufacturing process. Wrinkling doesn’t bother me, but I did want to mention it.
