I just finished the last Illustrated Faith Revival Camp Devotional Kit and it’s a bittersweet victory.
I really enjoyed having the camp experience at home without the expense of a normal camp program. At the end of the three months, I was left with hours of time with the Lord and three really cute traveler’s notebooks that adorn my shelves. To learn how to make the traveler’s notebook, click here.

Unboxing the Illustrated Faith Revival Camp 2018 Devotional Kit
When the box came to the house, I immediately ran into the studio to unbox it. Here’s what was included:
- 1 camp sticker
- 3 2″x2″ embroidered patches with a cloth bag
- 1 washi tape in pink and plaid – so cute!
- 1 4″x6″ sheet of clear stamps
- Acetate butterflies
- 1 sheet of die-cut pieces
- 3 devotionals
- 1 surprise ‘Trail Mix’ from Shanna
- 1 thank you card from Shanna
- Packaged in a box with pink tissue and sticker
The Review and Bonus Tutorial
Here’s the review and bonus tutorial on how to save money on digital prints. My favorite thing about this kit was the butterflies! I loved stapling them on my traveler’s notebook and having them look like they were ready to take off. I used all of the butterflies as well as most of the die cuts this month. Yay! I love when I can use almost the entire kit!
Illustrated Faith Revival Camp September 2018 Samples
Revival Camp was a great opportunity to take some time out for me over the last three months. Here’s a peek inside my traveler’s notebook. I used the trail mix bag as an envelope to keep the paint card safe.
Seven Kinds of Worship
I enjoyed learning about seven kinds of worship in Tamara’s devotional this month. It was fun trying to pronounce the Hebrew words.
1 Peter 4:10
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.
This is one of my favorite verses. I use it in my emails as a reminder to myself and to others to be good stewards.
2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Finishing Revival Camp
I think Revival camp is a perfect way to spend some time in the Word and would definitely do it again next year. Time to close the books on this and look forward to the next few months of grace and gratitude.
