DaySpring sent me the second kit in the three-part series they’re doing on Women of the Bible. This kit is titled, “Friendship on Purpose”, and it’s a good one! If you’re interested in purchasing this kit, please consider using our ministry affiliate link. It helps us out and doesn’t cost you more. You can purchase the kit here. Thank you! Women of the Bible Friendship on Purpose Bible Journaling Kit Review
In this review, I use the In(Courage) Bible. The difference between this Bible and a “standard” journaling Bible is that the space for journaling is at the bottom of each page instead of in the margin.
Bible Journaling The Queen of Sheba
Recipe for this page:
- Use the yellow alphabet to highlight what you believe the main theme is in the Scripture.
- Write down your thoughts on the Scripture or an answer to the journaling prompt provided in the kit.
- Add clear stickers.
- Place washi tape across to the top.
- Staple a die cut image to the top in lieu of a tab.
Bible Journaling with Ruth
Recipe for this page:
- Use the yellow alphabet to highlight what you believe the main theme is in the Scripture. Ruth is almost always described as being loyal. She’s more than that, but that’s for a more in-depth study.
- Write down your thoughts on the Scripture or an answer to the journaling prompt provided in the kit.
- Add the Women of the Bible sticker.
- Add die cuts and clear stickers.
- Use the pigment ink to stamp flowers along the border of the page.
- Place washi tape across to the top.
- Staple a die cut image to the top of the page.
Bible Journaling with Mary Magdalene
Recipe for this page:
- Stamp the frame background in black ink.
- Mask off the bottom and right edge of the frame.
- Stamp the image of Mary.
- Remove the masking paper. Watch the end of the review video above if you want to see a quick tutorial on this.
- Write down your thoughts on the Scripture or an answer to the journaling prompt provided in the kit.
- Add die cuts and clear stickers.
- Place washi tape across to the top.
- Staple a die cut image to the top of the page.
Bible Journaling with Naaman’s Servant
Recipe for this page:
- Use the clear sticker to call attention to the woman you’re focused on.
- Add your thoughts on the Scripture or answer the journaling prompt.
- Add die cuts and clear stickers.
- Place washi tape across to the top.
- Staple a die cut image to the top of the page.
