Hi Tracie, Thanks so much! These are excellent tips. (Revelation is one of my faves also) lol
These videos are great for a newbie like me. Thank you.
Thanks for this course. I look forward to learning more.
Thanks for the tips. This is good information. I have been a Christian since I was a little girl. After many years of growing as a Christian…bumos and bruises along the way…I realize every day how important it is to have a relationship with a God. We live in a messy world but God’s grace is sufficient for every minute…every day… and in everything!
Blessings,
Tricia
Amen. Being in the word and finding scripture that helps us in our walk is indeed a gift. Thank you for sharing your story.
worksheet for lesson 2 available?
There are just other resources in this lesson. No worksheet for this one 🙂
Actually, I’ve been doing all these steps for years, writing in the margins of the Bible and using separate journals, for daily devotions, unexpected blessings, dreams, etc.
I need to get a copy of the Joyce Meyer devotional – thanks for mentioning it!
Thanks again Tracie,
I think I am going to eventually try all the methods you spoke on. I know I can’t go wrong because, whichever method is chosen, I will be in the word of God.
Yes! That’s what it’s all about!
I’ve been journaling for a year or so and taken Regina Yoders Journaling class. I love to journal, your 2 lessons have given me even more information to continue and expand my journey! Thank you.
Kathy

Thank you so much for your videos…I really like this one because i’m just starting to do bible journaling, I have lots of stuff to get started including my journal bible but i’ve been scared to, afraid i might ruin it. I know I shouldn’t see it that way because that is exactly what this bible is for…for creative journaling as I have a few other bibles as well for my regular reading. I’m sure when I do a page or two there won’t be no stopping me 🙂 Thank you for this video, it was very helpful

Tracie,
Thank you for the great information. I ordered my Inspire Bible and cannot wait to get started.
Hooray! Let the fun begin!!!!
Tracie – this was a great lesson…thank you for that. My friend, Angie, and I just started looking up words that were on our minds in the concordance to find verses we feel jump out at us…
That’s a great idea!
Hi Tracie,
Thank you for this video. I appreciate your suggestions for where to get inspiration for finding bible verses.
Tracie, thank you great ideas for journaling!
Jean
Thank you for these helpful videos! I’ve been searching for a way for dig deeper into The Word creatively and I’ve found it with biblejournalministries.com!
I have gone onto my Amazon Kindle app and downloaded The Confident Woman Devotional. Thank you for these great videos and friendly Facebook group.
Thanks for sharing this with us. I have that devotional too. Love Joyce Meyer!
Thank you very much Traci! I am journaling through the book of Isaiah. This method helps things not seem so overwhelming but also lets me write deep thoughts as I read and reflect what message God has. I express myself more in writing as opposed to speaking. it also allows me to use my creativity as well.
Have you done a study on Revelation?
I myself have done a study on Revelation by John McArthur. Loved it!
Thanks so much, great ideas to help find scriptures!
Awesomeness!! I have that bible it got ruined 🙁 but I loved it and thinking of buying me another one.
I just signed up yesterday – rather late to the party, but never too late for the Lord! I’ve been half-heartedly Bible Journaling for a few months and in one of those Godincidences, the night before I was actually in the verse on Love that you feature in video #1 and had worked on that verse. Then I opened your video lesson and could not believe that of all the thousands of verses, you featured the same verse. I am just about to open my Bible at random and doodle a bit. I can’t wait for the next lesson. You have a lovely manner and are so genuine and encouraging. May the Lord continue to shine His light through your ministry.
This is all so great and very exciting! I’m not very good at drawing however I’m trying to improving my hand lettering such as calligraphy but I do write a lot of notes in my Bible I have the Beautiful Word Journaling Bible and I love it… thank you so much for this class I’m hoping to get some easy & simple drawing ideas from facebook pages!
Thank you, for the videos they had very helpful tips. They also help me understand what bible journaling is about. I wasn’t certain if bible journaling was for me, but after watching the videos I have decide to make bible journaling part of my life as I grow in the word of God. Thank you, Traci, for all you do and for encouraging other to get closer to God. God bless you, your family and your ministry.
Thank you for letting me join. Bible journaling is new to me…I grew up thinking you didn’t write in your Bible, but as I have grown up and matured (hahaha) I know it is ok and good to write notes and thoughts down. I have personal issues with writing or drawing over the Word but am thankful to learn and see ways to do it in margins and just hilight a part of the Word…I know everyone has there own way and I thankful to see ways to journal where I don’t write over the a Word. I have an Inspire Bible that a friend gave me so I am looking forward to using it for these lessons. Thank you again for all the tops, inspiration and encouragement . Blessings and love to you and your ministry.

I was just wondering if any men take advantage of this site? Not that it would make me leave if not. I like what it’s about.
We do have a few men that journal as well. Some of them call it “mapping” 🙂
Personally, I’m not a fan of J.Meyers but I like that you used 5his video to provide many ways for us “newbies” to find verses and get started. It has to start somewhere.
I just love your energy! You have such a beautiful soul. Have a blessed day!
Thank you Jennifer 🙂
I don’t have facebook THANK YOU YOU are a PRAYER Answered YOU a BLESSING
Thank you so much for the tutorials. It’s always nice to see how different people do thier studies. Love the art everyone in group cones up with. Can’t wait to hear you go through bibles tomorrow.
Tracie,
I am enjoying your videos! Such a REAL person teaches us
to do a REAL study of the word. You’re a blessing ❤️
I don’t use facebook. Do you have resources for people without facebook?
Yes. We have a YouTube channel with free videos, free downloads for our email subscribers, and our paid Momentum Bible journaling program.
Thank you for these resources about getting into God’s Word, and journaling. Great ideas.
Thank you this was very helpful, as I struggle with trying to find what to study. I have started reading Joyce Meyer devotional so I can now journal my daily devotional
This was a very helpful video. thank you for sharing you tips
Just watched this video and noted each step Thank you so much
Thank you Tracie! You are such a blessing. I am enjoying the beginners class and downloads. Thanks again!!
Thank you for the video. I just joined the FB pages last night. So neat 🙂
Good morning Tracie. I’m rewatching your free classes for beginners. This class reminded me that I have a book “Where to Find it in the Bible” by Ken Anderson, that I love. You might want to check this out. I’ve had it forever so it’s nothing new.
Thanks for the classes.
Thank you for the videos. Some of the tips you mentioned I already do. For example I will say a prayer before I start then pick a scripture from the bible. I also will take word or statement and find verses that relate to it. Then do entry for it. I did one for Lay your Burden downs and I give you rest, I will post in the group tonight. But I didn’t think about devotionals. What are some good devotionals to check out?
I agree with you about Revelations. At first I was a little worried about reading it because it does talk about the end times. Then God spoke to me. He said that you need to be watchful and ready for my coming. How are you going to watch for something if you do not know what to watch for?
Hi Amanda! I’m glad they were helpful. In terms of devotionals to checkout, I would think about what area of your life the Holy Spirit is calling you to pay close attention to (discernment? love? care? relationships? etc) Once I know that I can recommend specific devotionals that we have. For faster response, you can email support. Sometimes I don’t get to the blog comments as fast as I would like to.
I have another suggestion: The Lectionary. Some churches use a list of readings for the year. It’s generally published on the denomination’s website. As an example, check out the Episcopal Church’s Lectionary. There’s a good calendar-format version ihere: https://www.episcopalchurch.org/lectionary/
This has been great for me. I am a Christian artist and love creative things. Bible journaling has always confused me. The study method has spring boarded me into seeing how I can share my first love with my talent and second love. For me this is a great ministry tool as I do women’s group and Paint n Praise group in my church. I was so surprised how easily the image came to me as I read the scriptures. Thank you!
Wow! Job 39 is on my reading plan for today. What are the odds?
