I designed the Bible Journaling for Kids Verses From A to Z journaling book for elementary school-age children as a way to incorporate creativity with Scripture writing. I wanted to give them a safe place to practice Bible journaling where they wouldn’t be afraid of “messing up” and could use supplies like markers without worrying about bleeding through on the other side of the page.
Most children of this age only have one Bible, so it’s hard for them to use it for Bible journaling because they may cover up the words and not be able to read their only Bible. With this journal, they can feel free to color, paint, cut, draw, and splatter everywhere without worry. For families with more than one child in the household, you can purchase one copy of this book from Amazon and download the 8.5″x11″ pdf at no additional charge. The PDF link is in the back of the book. Alternatively, you can also purchase the pdf download here for a discount if you’d rather just print it out at home.
Bible Journaling for Kids
Bible Journaling for Kids – Verses from A to Z helps children begin their journey towards a lifelong love of Scripture and memorization. Kids will enjoy reading the verse, writing the verse and their thoughts, and expressing their creativity. By combining both creativity with thoughtful attention to the Word, they will learn more, comprehend more, and have more fun as they engage with the Word.
Bible Journaling for Kids Verses A to Z includes:
- 2 verses for every letter of the alphabet
- Space to draw on every page
- Lined pages to write Scripture or thoughts
- Blank pages behind each page so that markers and paint can be used without ruining the opposite side
- Over 45 bonus images to cut out, paste, or trace
- Access to the free 10-day Bible journaling course for beginners
- Free PDF version with physical journal purchase (link in the back of the book)

Bible Journaling for Kids – Verses A to Z (2 copies)
Hi Traicie, I received my book this past week. I have an 9yr old granddaughter who homeschools with her 5yr old brother & a 8 yr old neice who is starting homeschool this August. I purchased the book & saw the pdf, but was confused , because the way it read, I thought I had to purchase $15 to get it, so I didn’t. So now, to get it, do I need to purchase it instead? Kathy
I am excited for this! Good luck everyone!
I am so excited for this! It is so hard to fund stuff for my little guy but he wants to do stuff like me and his sister!
I love the idea. Thank you Tracie for your ministry and all the ideas and resources. God bless you
I’d love for my girls to own one of these. There’s nothing like interacting with the Word.
Awesome giveaway Tracie! Thanks for the chance!
I would definitely love to win this since I have been doing some workshops and people have asked about bible journaling for kids!! Fingers crossed
Hi Tracie, Replying to the blog post to enter for the book giveaway! It is really cute!
I’ve been trying to get my daughter(8 yrs old) involved in bible journaling and I think this book would be perfect for her! *fingers crossed* lol Blessings!
Tracie, I just have to tell you that my grandchildren absolutely love your book! I have purchased 4 already and plan to get at least 4-5 more before Christmas. I have been trying to get my grandchildren into Bible journaling AND their Bibles. I got the Journaling Bibles, Study Bibles in their age groups, lots of supplies (nothing wet yet…lol): and your book to top it off. They. Have so admired my Bible and what I have journaled and illustrated. Problem is, I don’t see them very often and we live 2 hours apart and I don’t drive anymore except very local (I have Macular Degeneration). Well…let me tell you, your book is the perfect answer. They read your introduction and instructions. My 13 yr old granddaughter is excited and helping her 2 brothers, who are also excited. It’s very hard to find any journaling Bibles for boys, especially you g boys. I ended up with the HCSB Notetakers Bible for teens for both of them….8 & 12. I stressed these Bibles can be used for many years to journal in,…bo hurry to just make pictures or color illustrations. It is my prayer that through the next 7-110 years they will use and continue to learn and enjoy Gods Word. Thank you Tracie! Your timimg was perfect for me and my grandchildren!
I showed my daughter and I think I may have to just buy one lol
I would love this to use with my Grand Princess. She is almost 6. I let her help me journal in my bible. It would be great for her to have her own. Thank you for the chance to enter.
