To me, being free from the bondage of sin doesn’t mean that I don’t sin. After all, I’m human and live in a fallen world. It means that sin doesn’t have control over me. I’m no longer a slave to it. Because I’m not a slave to it, I address my sins and battle them daily. Do I win every battle? No. But I don’t stop trying. I use many tools and actions to help me battle sin, including prayer, worship, Bible journaling, Bible study, daily devotionals, and prayer walks.

Romans 8:1-2
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. This page was created by Nikki from the Creative Faith Crew using the printables from our monthly Momentum Kit in her Illustrating Bible.
Proverbs 29:25
The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. I created this spread using Watercolor and a cut-out from Bible Journaling Ministries.
True Freedom to Live in His Truth
Fill my heart with Your truth, Jesus. Uproot the lies and replace them with thoughts that bring peace. True FREEDOM TO LIVE IN HIS TRUTH. Thank you, Taylor Aaron, from our Creative Faith Crew for creating this beautiful page. She used scrap paper, washi tape, and cut-outs from this months Momentum kit from Bible Journaling Ministries. She Created this in her 100 Days book from DaySpring.
Romans 13:6-7
For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God’s ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. I created this fun background using matte acrylic paint and a cut out from Bible Journaling Ministries.
Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. I created this page using Distress Oxide ink.
If you’re here today and you’re ready to choose Jesus as your path, tell God that you’re prepared to accept Jesus Christ and receive the power of the Holy Spirit. If you know what it’s like to be free from fear, free from the penalty of sin, and free from the power of sin, but maybe you’ve strayed away. Call on the Holy Spirit to help you fight this battle.
