The bible has lots to say about planning, here are a few verses to consider (all verses in WEB translation):
1.) Titus 3:5 – not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
2.) Revelation 3:2 – Wake up and keep the things that remain, which you were about to throw away, for I have found no works of yours perfected before my God.
3.) Galatians 2:20 – I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.
4.) Colossians 3:10 – and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator,
5.) Acts 3:19 – “Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord,
6.) Proverbs 27:17 – Iron sharpens iron;
so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance.
7.) John 10:10 – The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
8.) Psalm 51:10 – Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a right spirit within me.
9.) Philippians 1:9 – This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment,
10.) Ezekiel 36:26 – I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
11.) 1 Timothy 2:15 – but she will be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and sanctification with sobriety.
12.) Revelation 1:3 – Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written in it, for the time is at hand.
13.) Ephesians 4:29 – Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.
14.) 2 Timothy 1:9 – who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before times eternal,
15.) Matthew 5:48 – Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
16.) Proverbs 16:16 – How much better it is to get wisdom than gold!
Yes, to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.
17.) 1 John 3:2 – Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him; for we will see him just as he is.
18.) Philippians 1:6 – being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
19.) 2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold,[a] all things have become new.
20.) Psalm 119:97 – How I love your law!

21.) 1 John 1:9 – If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
22.) 2 Thessalonians 3:5 – May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love, and into the perseverance of Christ.
23.) James 1:12 – Blessed is a person who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him.
24.) Matthew 5:16 – Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
25.) Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
26.) 2 Peter 3:16 – as also in all of his letters, speaking in them of these things. In those, there are some things that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unsettled twist, as they also do to the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
27.) James 1:17 – Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow.
28.) Psalm 23:3 – He restores my soul.
He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
29.) Colossians 3:9-10 – Don’t lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, 10 and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator,
30.) 2 Timothy 2:21 – If anyone therefore purges himself from these, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, and suitable for the master’s use, prepared for every good work.
31.) Isaiah 43:19 – Behold, I will do a new thing.
