The bible has lots to say about the Birth of Jesus, here are a few verses to consider (all verses in WEB translation):
1.) Isaiah 11:1 – A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse,
and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit.
2.) Romans 12:12 – rejoicing in hope; enduring in troubles; continuing steadfastly in prayer;
3.) John 14:6 – Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
4.) Romans 15:3 – For even Christ didn’t please himself. But, as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.”
5.) Titus 3:7 – that being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
6.) Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
7.) Psalm 39:6-7 – “Surely every man walks like a shadow.
Surely they busy themselves in vain.
He heaps up, and doesn’t know who shall gather.
7 Now, Lord, what do I wait for?
My hope is in you.
8.) Hebrews 11:1 – Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen.
9.) Isaiah 40:31 – but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength.
They will mount up with wings like eagles.
They will run, and not be weary.
They will walk, and not faint.
10.) Romans 8:24-25 – For we were saved in hope, but hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for that which he sees? 25 But if we hope for that which we don’t see, we wait for it with patience.
11.) Philippians 4:4 – Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!”
12.) James 1:2 – Count it all joy, my brothers,[a] when you fall into various temptations,
13.) John 15:11 – I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full.
14.) Romans 15:13 – Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
15.) Proverbs 17:22 – A cheerful heart makes good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
16.) John 16:24 – Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.
17.) Psalm 118:24 – This is the day that Yahweh has made.
We will rejoice and be glad in it!
18.) John 13:34-35 – A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
19.) Colossians 3:14 – Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.
20.) 1 John 4:19 – We love him, because he first loved us.
21.) 1 Corinthians 16:14 – Let all that you do be done in love.
22.) Ephesians 5:25 – Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;
23.) 1 John 4:8 – He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.
24.) Romans 13:8 – Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
25.) Philippians 4:7 – And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
26.) Romans 12:18 – If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.
27.) John 16:33 – I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.”
28.) Philippians 4:7 – And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
29.) John 14:27. – Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.
30.) Hebrews 12:14 – Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord,
31.) 1 Corinthians 13:13 – But now faith, hope, and love remain—these three. The greatest of these is love.
